Advanced Health Care and our employees have been sponsoring and participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s for well over two decades. Being part of such a meaningful and important cause in our community has been incredibly rewarding.  On Saturday, October 8, 2022, several of us laced up our sneakers once again and participated in the annual “Walk to End Alzheimer’s” held at Heritage Park in the shadow of the beautiful Capitol Building, downtown Olympia. It was an amazing, warm fall day in the Pacific Northwest and hundreds of people gathered for one common goal: finding and funding a cure for Alzheimer’s and dementia. Our Advanced Health Care Olympia team raised over $950 to support this cause and we had 11 human walkers (and one four-legged walker) on our team this year. You can see from these photos that it was a family affair for the staff in our offices and smiles were all around.

We believe and participate in this community-led event each year to show support and inspire others to join in this important cause. We stand behind the local chapters of the Alzheimer’s Association because we understand the value and the strength of a strong community united for one purpose. When we walk together, each of us carry a personal experience with the disease, and together we are part of something much bigger.

Thank you for your support over the years, for walking with us, and donating to this event.  We hope you can come out and walk with us at the next #walk2endalz.
